2
Helping the orphaned by coordinating with relevant agencies for their admission to suitable orphanages where their holistic development can take place.
3
Frequently organising health camps and educational sessions with the help of doctors and teachers who are willing to serve in the community.
4
Providing counselling ,guidance and mentorship to needy children for their good mental health ,so that they can overcome the various hurdles and problems they may face in life and ensuring that the children develop to their full potential and become responsible citizens of the world.
Nirmal Sehyog recognises the needs of women in distress and aims to work on their physical, mental and social well-being. In words of Hon’ble APJ Abdul Kalam –
“Empowerment of women leads to development of a good family, good society and, ultimately, a good nation”.
On these lines, Nirmal Sehyog shares a 2-point objective of Spreading Awareness, Facilitating & Empowering:
1
Spreading Awareness and Facilitating Access to Support Schemes - To educate and spread awareness among women in need, about various government schemes and agencies that are available to help them but they mostly can’t access due to low literacy and awareness levels. Facilitating by filling forms and completing the process on their behalf.
2
Empowering – To make women self-dependent and able working individuals - through vocational skill development and basic training. Nirmal Sehyog has established a Swavlamban Kendra (Centre for Self Reliance) – where skills related to stitching, beauty parlour, cooking are taught and women are empowered towards entrepreneurship with a vision to promote gender equality.
